If you travel around Vietnam, you may feel like you are traveling between seasons.
Southern Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong River, experiences the hottest weather. Average temperatures range from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius (77 to 95 Fahrenheit).
Central Vietnam enjoys more mild and downright hot temperatures the further south you go, making it a great destination year-round.
Nothern Vietnam runs warm May through October and cold November to April. Hanoi and the far north can be very cold in the winter and in the mountanious far north snow can even occur.
Vietnam has two seasons: Dry season and wet season. The wet season typically runs from May through October/November with regional variations. Throughout much of the rainy season rainfall is generally heavy but short lasting. So even if you are doing your internship in the wet season, you will be able to chill by the pool or beach while enjoying the sun.
